About the artist
 

Catherine Thoms grew up in Columbus, MS and graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in interior design. After college she lived in Nashville, TN, Asheville, NC, Louisville, KY, and Dallas, TX where she worked for design firms, in retail, and as a visual merchandiser for a large furniture company. Her background in design and merchandising inspired her to launch Catherine Thoms Jewelry in 2017. Her collection combines modern elements with natural materials, and her pieces feature semi-precious stones, African vinyl, leather, wood, and 14K gold-filled metal. Catherine Thoms Jewelry incorporates some signature staple pieces as well as one-of-a-kind designs and has become known for its individual and eclectic style. All pieces are handcrafted by Catherine in Tupelo, MS where she currently lives with her husband, Kirk, and their two young children, Field and Wells.
